I hope you guys are having a great weekend so far! Things have been busy but fun around these parts. The highlight of Friday night was going to see Seinfeld live at the Jubilee - I loved the show when it was on, so being able to see him live was pretty great. Saturday started bright and early with a morning trip to the farmers market, followed by an afternoon chatting away with a fellow Edmontonian blogger, Christina @ Pinch of Healthy. The market ended up being a lot better than I remembered, and I came home with some apples, sweet carrots, tomatoes, lettuce, flavoured honey, and chicken breasts that I won’t assault your eyes with. And the blogger meet up? Gah! Why do bloggers have to be such wonderful people? We spent hours talking, and I’m seriously looking forward to seeing her again. After that, I spent some time in the kitchen [with Mom], working on a [savoury] recipe that I’ll be sharing with you guys tomorrow.

Until then, I hope you have a great day. I’m not entirely sure what’s in store for me, but I know that church, a trip to the mall, and dinner with the family are on the agenda. Happy Sunday, friends!

I’m enjoying these link roundups, keep doing it! :)

So I just opened like 12 new tabs…giving me some Sunday morning reading, lady! I’m glad you had fun at Seinfeld, although I must confess – I never liked the show. But I also hated Fraser and Everybody Loves Raymond, so maybe I just have no taste when it comes to comedy shows?
I just went for a run which was awesome but weird, and then I’m going to get some cleaning done and take Atti to the dog park later…yay easy Sunday!
<3 Hope you have a great one my dear!

I always hate how fruit gets such a bad rep, so I love seeing it get a little tlc and support! Those chocolate chip oat bars seem unreal too! How can something be that gooey and delicious looking? Mmm! I love your ‘Little Black Tee’. I have a shirt that says ‘More Issue Than Vogue’ and ‘Nothing to wear’. I love little writing like that on shirts! I stumbled upon Buzzfeed almost a year ago and LOVE it. Those reasons to be a boy are flawless. I’ve tried the whole peeing standing up thing and comfortable shoes to an event sounds like heaven! (Even though I do love me some heels!) :)

I am tempted to try the Peeps challenge since I love me some peeps! I’m guilty of trying the cinnamon challenge in high school. Not successful. :P My weekend has been pretty nice especially since I got out of the house to shoot some guns! LOL Lounging around, shopping with my mom, cupcakes, and going to my brother’s house are on the agenda today and, of course, some Elmo time!

I tried the cinnamon challenge too. I managed, but I think I used less cinnamon than that guy, and I still felt like I was going to die.

The articles you found are all so interesting. I must admit that the stress and foods was my favorite thus far but the the challenges were pretty interesting too. We did the chubby bunny back in high school and I seriously almost choked on marshmellows. It was awful. LOL.

Was the market the normal size yesterday? I noticed the road wasn’t blocked off as usual and when I saw them packing up there were only three or four tents! Sadly I missed the whole Seinfeld era, but thanks for the great links! Hope your Sunday is great. :)

Love the Strathcona farmers market. I try to go once a month with a coworker. Love Irving’s farms bacon and sausage, Sunworks chicken breakfast sausage, eggs, and chicken. I also love the small bagels from some guy I can’t remember the name of:)
I took myself to see Elysium yesterday afternoon, and today my man is coming over right away after work so we can bum at Costco, then order pizza.

Er. So this is going to be random and maybe TMI. But going along with the “peeing standing up” on the Buzzfeed article, one of my guy friends had a little (or a little more than a little) to drink one night and coming out of the bathroom, exclaimed, “I just peed sitting down, and it was possibly the greatest thing ever.”

Okay I totally saved this post until Monday morning so that I could read it over my morning coffee. And then proceeded to almost spit out my coffee from laughing at the “monthly gift” GIF in the Buzzfeed article. And then again when I saw the guy attempting the cinnamon challenge. So funny! Also thanks for featuring my post. :D

Ok, I just have to say, um, YEAH!! to all of the cool dude things…especially the peeing while standing up thing since I LOVE being outdoors, but HATE having to squat! Haha! I totally lost myself in the sleep articles…I kept clicking to the next and the next…now not only do I know how to fake being awake, but I know (more) about supplements to take before bed, yoga moves, meditation ideas, AND I want to buy a pair of sleepphones! For the record, I’ve done the Saltine challenge before and KILLED it, but you couldn’t pay me to do any of the others…especially the cinnamon one! Good god, that’s gotta hurt! I still need to read Laura’s fruity post but I absolutely LOVED Chelsea’s muffin top post! It actually inspired me to post about some things today that have been bothering me recently about body image.

Great links, especially Laura’s Ode to fruit. As a fellow fruit-a-holic, it made me happy.
As far as Chelsea’s muffin top goes, I say buy a larger size pair of pants. Muffin top gone. It’s so easy to feel crappy about our bodies when our clothes don’t fit properly for whatever reason. Glad to see someone embrace it. Links like this and celebs without makeup make me wonder if we shouldn’t do bloggers caught unawares…no make up, muffin tops exposed. It would certainly promulgate a more realistic picture. Hmmm.
Glad to hear farmers marketing (yes, I made it a verb) made the list along with your other Sunday activities. Those colorful cauliflower are so cute. I’d have to buy one of every shade.
