link love 10/30

October 30, 2016 by Amanda @ .running with spoons. 11 Comments

Happy Sunday, friendly faces! šŸ¤“

How’s your weekend going? I ended up havingĀ to take a bit of a personalĀ day on Friday, which is why there was no post yesterday. But betweenĀ a broken oven (!!!!) and feeling a bit of burnout creeping in, I figured it would be a good idea to take a small step back and regroup. SO! I spent a good chunk of Friday and Saturday going over the blog’s mission statement andĀ planning for the upcoming month, and now I’m back in a way better headspace and really looking forward to November… which is in, like, 2 days 😳

Craziness. But I hope you guys have an awesome Sunday and that you find something worth reading in this week’s Link Love. I’ll see you soon with a new recipe that I’m kind of really stoked about. Bye!

Wow, what an eventful weekend you had! It’s great to hear that you took some time for yourself and regrouped. It’s interesting how life always has a way of reminding us to slow down and take care of ourselves. I couldn’t help but notice the mention of the number 10 multiple times in your post, which is often associated with angel numbers like 10, symbolizing new beginnings and spiritual growth.

Personal days are important! Hope it was restorative.
Yesterday I went to yoga and then had lunch and saw a play with my mom.
Today I took a nice walk in the park and am doing some food prep and writing catch-up before I go to an art exhibit.

Mental health days are some of my favorite. They’re great for puzzles, conspiracy theories and old documentaries…also updating planners. šŸ™‚

Stress is one of the main sources for poor gut health. It’s right up there with antibiotic use.

I love the comedic animal pictures.

I’m fascinated by the link about updating old content.

Yesterday: cleaned the house, hung with baby and went out for drinks.
Today: more baby, hopefully some planning and the WIR.
