link love 10/2

October 2, 2016 by Amanda @ .running with spoons. 23 Comments

Hi, hi! Happy Sunday. Happy October.

So I’m pretty sure I haven’t left my house in about 24 hours. No, wait. That’s a lie. I did manage to drag myself out to the Y for about an hour yesterday evening, but other than I’ve been hanging out inside trying to avoid the bad weather outside. Honestly, though? I don’t even mind the gloom and doom around this time of the year… It makes things feel more Halloween-y, and makes me feel less guilty for wanting to do nothing more than hang out at home with a bowl of mac ‘n’ cheese.

Oh man. I think I’m on my 3rd or 4th batch of that cheesy sauce already. I whipped up some more yesterday, along with a few other recipes that I’m looking forward to sharing with you guys this week… provided the weather actually clears up enough for me to take pictures. It might today, which means I might even make it out of the house 😝

Anywho! I hope you guys enjoy the links I found for this week’s Link Love, aaaaand I’ll see you tomorrow. Have a good one!

I live a couple hours from Leavenworth! I’ve never been, though it’s a “thing” that everyone around here raves about and goes to, especially around Christmas, which is supposed to be the best (and probably the most crowded) time to visit. Sometime I want to go just because everyone talks about it and I have friends who love Leavenworth, but it’s not a huge draw for me.

Love that list of books! I’d totally forgotten about And Then There Were None and Flowers for Algernon, but they’re both excellent!

My book list is already too long and now I’m gonna have to add some more. So many books, so little time.

Thanks for the photography one. I saved it so once I finally get around to opening up my camera (yes, the one I got back in March), I might learn how to use it.

I’m from Washington state and have been to the first one of the small towns (Leavenworth) several times, but never during Christmastime when they decorate it. It is still cute in the summer though and the mountains around it are really cool.

A few days ago, I didn’t leave my house for 24 hours either so I completely get it. I wish I didn’t have to work, otherwise I probably wouldn’t leave my house again either. I’m so tired. Anyways, the weather here hasn’t been fun to do anything so that could help my demotivation. Enjoy your Sunday Amanda!

Bad photo weather here too lately! Yesterday blogging, groceries, a recipe and today swimming with Emily, cooking and having family over. I think this week is looking better for photos, let’s hope I have recipe motivation.
