. link love 3/15 .

March 15, 2015 by Amanda @ .running with spoons. 20 Comments

Happy Sunday, friendly faces! And hello, hello from the beach!

Footprints in the Sand

Well, technically hello from bed after a long day at the beach, but you get the idea. It’s been 1.5 days so far, and Maui has been ah.maze.ing. I don’t want to speak too soon, but I think it’s my favourite of the Hawaiian islands that I’ve visited so far… and we haven’t even left our resort! I’m looking forward to seeing more of what the island has to offer, including the famous road to Hana and the sunrise at the Haleakala crater, but for now the sun and waves have been plenty.

I hope you guys are having an amazing weekend as well, and I hope you’ll find some enjoyable reads in this week’s edition of Link Love. Talk to you again soon! 😀

Glad to hear that you’re having a great trip so far love! Currently, it’s snowing outside. So that’s what you’re missing.
Yesterday: worked, went to Bodypump, walked the dog.
Today: 4 mile treadmill run because I refuse to run outside when it’s cold enough to snow, groceries, food prep/making lunch for for the week.

Yesterday was pretty lazy – I spent an afternoon at the Met with my BFF, looking at our favorite Impressionist paintings, complaining about my unlucky-in-dating couple of months and her hubby’s dislike of her shoe-shopping habit! Boys – they don’t get it.

But today – today I ran the NYC Half Marathon! And then I ate. All the food. Only two things… Later I’ll be eating more of the food? 🙂

    Oh, beautiful pics!
Yesterday: recovery run, funeral for a family friend who took his own life, and drinks with my sisters (and tears, and hugs, and huge philosophical discussions)
Today: playing with Callum, another recovery run (my Friday long run was a toughie) and shopping!

Those bookmarks make me feel ashamed for mine because yes, same here: usually the receipt from buying the book. At least it’s a good reminder I supported a local bookstore 😉 .
Enjoy your holiday! I’ll head out in a minute trying to find the sun on this rather dull day.
