. link love 7/27 .

July 27, 2014 by Amanda @ .running with spoons. 25 Comments

Happy Sunday, friendly faces!

I hope your weekend’s been a good one so far. Mine’s been cold and rainy for the most part, but at least that meant I was able to catch up on some work, errands, and blog stuff without feeling like I was missing out on much. And it cleared up last night so I’m planning on heading out to the lake later today…

Canoe at the Lake

I hope you guys have something equally as enjoyable planned, and if you find yourself with any spare moments that need filling, check out a few of these links that I’ve been loving this week. Oh! And if you haven’t already, be sure to enter my Swanson’s giveaway — it ends tonight!

Loved the links about walking. I need to incoorporate more walking into my fitness routine.
I think changing the serving size will only lead to confusion. I totally use the serving size to measure out how much I eat of a particular product.

Looks like we got your rain – it’s raining here now! Luckily the rest of the weekend was pretty nice though.

3 things I did yesterday: Saturday was my birthday present to JZ so we went for a couple’s massage, spent the afternoon in Niagara Falls, and went out for dinner at an Italian restaurant.

3 things I did today: went to the farmers market, grabbed lunch at WF with a friend, and went on a walk.

Hope you’re enjoying your day at the lake!

How was Hercules?! I wanted to see it after seeing the initial trailor, but then I kept seeing the SAME commercial over and over while I was watching Netflix and completely got turned off by it. HA! So, I’m wondering if I should change my mind ;o)

Yesterday: Made Sally’s Award Winning Zucchini bread (one piece left in less than 24 hours… rats?), did some laundry, and GOT CHIPOTLE FOR DINNER (my parents are now obsessed muahahhaa)

Thanks for sharing these. I always have great interest in the articles you share because they are more relevant to my life (versus blogging articles I’ve probably read on other blogs already). I enjoyed the 20 healthiest foods a lot. I think I might right a post about that.

Yesterday: walked around Ottawa, spent forever and a half searching out a health food store with kombucha and was finally successful (weird craving, but I’ll take it), went to a wedding party/celebration.
Today: meeting my cousin for lunch…and that’s all I got. We’ll see where today takes us – we talked about going into Quebec.

Today: drink too much iced coffee, play with my niece and get an early night <3

Why am I always so cruel to myself by reading posts like this just before a long run….a banana and bagel really isn’t very exciting compared to some of the things I see on here…..why cant I eat smores gooey bars before 17 miles??? Haha! Lots of good links, hopefully the rain stops for you!

Is it terrible that I can barely recall what I did yesterday? Ok wait, I got it – long run, beach time, mall time…Three things today – short run, probably movies because it is supposed to rain and random errands.
