Thanks for the love, beautiful girl. Your story was very inspiring to me when it came to realizing that I had a problem and needed to take the steps to fix it. Your healthy relationship with food after what sounds like a very intense battle with disorder really motivates me– you rock in so many ways. Xox

Oh man, I need that handstand link in my life! I was able to do them about 2 years ago when I was a member of a CrossFit box. My only tip is to do them against a wall and throw your feet up as fast as possible, LOL. It worked for me at the time πŸ˜‰

Yesterday I played frisbee outside (when it wasn’t raining), made ice cream in ziplock bags with kids – super fun, and drank some beers while watching fireworks with my family. Today I came home from the lake early because it rained all weekend, I made Curry Carrot Cauliflower Soup, and ate bacon for breakfast!!

Love the one about things nutrition experts want you to stop saying. I’m definitely guilty of dropping “clean” here or there, but the “no sugar” or “no carb” one drives me crazy! Have to take deep breaths whenever my clients say they haven’t had a carb in 2 years. Suuuure. πŸ˜‰ Great round-up as always. Thank you!

LOVING all the links this week! I can totally understand not being able to get up a post as scheduled sometimes- you’re human, don’t stress about it! Looking forward to that recipe πŸ™‚
Yesterday- bought a MacBook Pro to be able to really make my YouTube channel a priority (better editing software etc.)- I am SOOOOOO excited about it! Also- a family friend’s bar mitzvah ceremony+ celebration bbq and filmed my June favorites video to go up tomorrow.
Today- a recycled arts festival that we go to every year, planning meals (trust me, it’s just for practicality’s sake!) for our cabin trip for the 4th, and editing said video.
    Have a great week, Amanda!

So much goodness this week so I have to talk in bullet points. You understand.

    1) Oscar is the happiest animal on the planet. He lives with me; enough said.
    2) The things nutritionists wish you’d stop saying is dead on, even the cleaning eating one. Hell what does clean eating even mean anymore? I still wouldn’t change my blog name though; it’s great for SEO.
    3) Amen to high fat foods like eggs, olive oil and nuts. I think I could almost live on these things so long as you throw in a side of fruit.
    4) Embrace the cellulite. I love it. How about we embrace thighs that touch and our little pouch tummies as well.
    5) Your deviled egg dip came out fabulous, and I will even forgive you for hating on the veggies, only because I know deep down you love them too.
