Hullo, hullo friendly faces! Happy Sunday to ya! πŸ˜€

How’s your weekend been so far? Mine’s been… cold. I had all sorts of plans to spend the weekend on the slopes, but freezing my face off in -20ΒΊC weather didn’t really sound like a good time, so instead, I baked…

Fully Loaded Muffins

It’s a rough life πŸ˜‰ In all seriousness, though, you wouldn’t find me complaining if winter decided to throw in the towel and pack it up early. As much as I enjoy having the snow around when I want to go snowboarding, it doesn’t really do me any good when it’s too cold to enjoy it. Thankfully, temporary relief is close at hand.

Remember how I mentioned that I had something exciting coming up in my last currently post? Time to spill the beans… I’m heading to Hawaii next week to spend time with J! Woo! I’ll never be a fan of these long-distance relationship things, but at least they have some perks. I’d say a little more, but I’m currently too distracted by the Canada – Sweden gold medal hockey game that I woke up at 4:30 AM to watch, so we’ll chat later. In the meantime, enjoy some of these awesome links that I came across this past week… and have an awesome Sunday!

Edited to add: 3 – 0 win for Canada! #GoCanadaGo

Seems like half of the people I know are going to Hawaii this year. I’m jealous. Have tons of fun with J!

I’m not sure what I’m more excited about: your baking experiment or the fact you’ll be meeting with J in Hawaii…ok, the latter. I’m so happy for you. You are gonna get your aloha on and perhaps even laid; I’m talking about the necklace of course. Dirty birdie.

Good links as always; I lost far too much time on them, although at least there was a great justification for my daily to do lists. Starting the day off right. I didn’t love the some of the “healthier” baking swaps though. I see nothing unheathy about using a whole egg, which the author actually mentioned so to use the term “healthier” swaps was grating for me. Perhaps it should have been allergy friends swaps…?
Eh, can’t win ’em all right. Have a fabulous trip!!

Have fun in Hawaii!! I want to go so badly! When my hubs was active duty and deployed, he flew me to meet him in Paris for mid tour leave. That was pretty awesome.

Well, we’ve been enjoying unseasonably warm weather here, so I don’t have that cold weather problem. Tomorrow might be a beach day!

Yesterday: TRX, take kids to park, shower during the day instead of waiting til 9pm. πŸ™‚
Today: PiYo, clean house, grocery shopping
