. ’tis the season for a giveaway .

December 14, 2012 by Amanda @ .running with spoons. 342 Comments

Happy Friday, friends!

I’m about to head out for a night on the town, but I wanted to pop in quickly and share something with you guys that I’ve been dying to talk about for a while now. Not too long ago (maybe last week?) I published my 200th post here on Spoons, and I figured that was definitely something that needed to be celebrated. Blogging has been such a huge part of my life over these past few years, not only because it allows me to indulge in my passion for writing and photography, but because it’s introduced me to a community of people that I absolutely adore.

Each and every comment, e-mail, or Tweet that you guys send my way warms my heart like you wouldn’t believe, and I wanted to show you how grateful I am for your readership by giving you an opportunity to win a goodies package containing a few of my favorite things, plus some thrown in just for fun.

So what’s up for grabs? Well, one lucky winner will receive:

1 Lindt chocolate bar (dark chocolate with sea salt)
1 baggie of David’s Tea (merry cranberry)
2 packets Starbucks Via (pumpkin spice)
Samples of Harney & Sons teas (green tea & hot cinnamon spice)
1 Dagoba chocolate bar (new moon)

2 Clif bars (white chocolate macadamia & chocolate almond fudge)
2 baggies of Vega smoothie mixes (vanilla almondilla & tropical tango)
1 Luna bar (chocolate peppermint stick)
1 ViaBar [locally made] (go orange)

2 baggies of Snack Factory pretzel crisps (dark & white chocolate)
2 Canadian candy bars (Smarties & Coffee Crisp)

. – . – . – .

There are 4 ways you can enter (leave a separate comment for each):

1. Tell me one thing you love about yourself (mandatory)

2. Subscribe to Running with Spoons via e-mail, Google Reader, or RSS feed  and let me know.

3. Follow me on Twitter or Instagram (@RunWithSpoons) and leave a comment with your ID.

4. Like Running with Spoons on Facebook.

You have until December 17th at midnight to enter, and I’ll announce the winner on the 18th.

Love you guys, and good luck!

. – . – . – .

Edited to add: I can’t even begin to describe how badly my heart aches for all those affected by the recent school shootings in CT. My thoughts and prayers are with all the families who lost a loved one, and with the community that has to deal with the aftermath of such a horrific act. Please remember that life is precious, and never take your loved ones for granted.

    Hiii 🙂
I think the thing I love most about myself is the fact that I know how to keep positive in bad situations – or just any situation, really. Its gotten me through a lot over the years, and I know its pushing me toward a career and the things I have on my bucket list (like traveling!)

Thanks for the inspiration every week and have a good Christmas!

One thing I love about myself: Whenever I’m presented with a task, no matter how difficult it may appear, I somehow always motivate myself to get it done. Even if it takes forever. I know I will always finish what I start to the absolute best of my ability. After all, there’s no point in doing something if you don’t go all out, right? 🙂

What I like about myself, hmmm? The older I have gotten (just turned 48) I have learned how important my family and friends are and just not to worry so much about the small stuff. I also love that I am physically in the best shape of my life and get up at 4 am to get my workouts in and be able to stay focused for my family,

I love my thoughtfulness. Yes sometimes I think of others, maybe to a flaw, but I love how I can put others before myself, not always be selfish, do small random things to put a smile on someone’s face and be that person that others feel comfortable coming to when they have a problem and need to talk. I know I’ve depended on my support system so I know how important it is to have someone to trust and go to.

And I love putting smiles on people’s faces! Everyone deserves to be happy!

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh DYING. Starbucks and ClifBar in one giveaway!?!? Not to mention all the other great things. One thing I love about myself: I am intensely organized and good with time management. I’m incredibly grateful for this now as my fellow college students are pulling all nighters to study material they should have been studying throughout the semester. Me? I’m sleeping in, taking study time, and relaxing when I need to. I like you on Facebook and follow you on Instagram, Twitter, and Google Reader. Hope you’re having a great vacation!
