. link love 10/5 .

October 5, 2014 by Amanda @ .running with spoons. 34 Comments

Hello, hello from the gorgeous Canadian Rockies!

Rocky Mountains

I think I may have mentioned [a few hundred times] how much I love it up here? Because it’s seriously one of my favourite places in the world to be. My only complaint is that the internet connection can be absolute garbage, which wouldn’t normally be a problem since I’m here to enjoy the great outdoors anyways, but I’m also trying to show some link love, which is hard to do when you’re browsing the web and it takes you about 2 minutes to load every.single.page…

Needless to say, this week’s list is a little shorter than it normally is, so I’d love it you could help me out by adding your awesome links to the linkup! Love you much! And see your friendly faces soon πŸ˜€

Three things you did yesterday; three things you’re going to do today. Go!
Yesterday: drove up to the mountains, got lost in the woods, and spent most of the evening in a sauna and hot tub.
Today: playing it by ear! But it ends with making the long drive back home πŸ˜₯

I loved that post on FueledByLOLZ! So so true haha.

I really like that article about looking at architecture at different angles. I remember especially when I studied abroad in Paris and I saw the Mona Lisa for the first time and was in awe of how small it was! Same with the Spanish Steps in Rome – completely different from what you expect based on pictures πŸ™‚

Whenever a page takes SO much time to load, I end up just bagging the whole idea. I have no patience when it comes to social media. Lol I’d rather just not deal with the headache than put myself through (pointless) torture!

Yesterday: Finished decorating my brother’s cake, got a new Eagles’ shirt, and celebrated my brother’s birthday

Spending the evening in a sauna and a hot tub sounds pretty ideal, especially since it’s very chilly here and a certain someone (that’d be me) refuses to turn on the heat. I am however typing this in front of a fireplace, while soaking up the flames. Not literally, because that’d be dangerous.

I loved Heather and Carly’s post. I’ve got my own fitness industry one coming soon, if I can ever make the time to write it. Enjoy your mountains; soak it all in.

The Rockies -do- look beautiful and I wish I could magically send my grandpa over here because I know he’s been dreaming about skiing there for a long time. Enjoy your Sunday up there – and a hopefully non-stressful drive back.
Three things I did yesterday: a bike ride with my mum, went to the theate and ate out with my parents, sister, a cousin and friends.
Today: Take the train journey back, almost finish [will likely tonight] a great book and prep some food for the week.
