Happy Sunday, friendly faces! 🤓

You know those days where everything goes wrong to the point where you just can’t help but laugh? That was me on Thursday. And Friday. Which is why there was no post on Saturday. I was working on a recipe that sounded so perfect in my head, but would.not.work no matter what I did. I probably should have thrown in the towel and made something else, but I’m stubborn AF and didn’t want to admit defeat. I’m still not admitting defeat… only a postponed victory 😜

Thankfully, yesterday brought many successes in the kitchen, but I’ll share those with you starting tomorrow, because today is all about the link love!

Hope you guys are having a fantastijazzical weekend. If you need me, I’ll most likely be watching the Euro 2016 final ⚽️

    Amanda, I have totally friggin been there–you have this recipe you just *know* is gonna rock all of the socks off of every-thang. But then you make it. And it doesn’t turn so out well. Or at all.     I’ve done olive oil and pesto before as pizza bases, although I love the idea of a white sauce, especially with fresh herbs on top.

    Yesterday: worked on some blog work, watched a lot of netflix, went to a graduation party
    today: food prep, work out, try not to cry that it’s sunday and the work week is already tomorrow haha!
    Also, you dont have to answer this if you dont want to, totally understand. But, how long did you blog for before you were able to do it full time?

    This sounds like me last weekend when I made one recipe three times before I finally got it right. Sometimes it’s just not meant to be I guess! This weekend I’ve been wrapping up work and taking it easy as I recover from the flu. Today packing for Blogfest!

    So glad you finally made something work yesterday, recipe testing just sucks sometimes! Yesterday I also worked on a couple of recipes and one was actually good, also grocery shopped and wrote my post for today. Today is more of the same I’m afraid although I hope to sneak in some sort of outing with my girls. I think I’m in need of a break!

    I hate when that happens && it totally happened to me yesterday. I had what I thought was the best idea for a popsicle for today but it completely failed and there’s no post for today now. July’s been so great so far o.O
    Here’s to hoping we have fail free weeks lol

      Oh girl, you’re definitely not alone! July has been feeling all sorts of off for me as well. At least it’s summer so we have more of an excuse to take some time off.
