. link love 9/22 .

September 22, 2013 by Amanda @ .running with spoons. 37 Comments

Happy Sunday, friends! And more importantly… happy first day of fall! πŸ˜€

photo

Oh yes, today marks the official start dateΒ of my favourite season, which makes me feel a little bit better about the mass quantities of apples, pumpkin, squash, cinnamon, and warm teas that I’ve been enjoying since September hit – at least now I can say that I’m eating seasonally πŸ˜‰

To celebrate this momentous occasion (just go with it), I spent some time playing around with fall flavours in the kitchen yesterday…

But you’ll have to wait until tomorrow for the recipe, because today is all about sharing the link love…

Now that recipe you have tempting us….after making your hummus tortilla pizza last night, I am NOT looking forward to seeing it. It will mean forking out some $$ for figs (not in season) and goats cheese (never cheap, stat.). Enjoy your Sunday night whilst I sit here, Monday morning, about to tackle statistics.

I really enjoy the article of making the best of your 20s. There are so many things that are important there about being happy. You don’t need ideal circumstances and why wait in a job you hate? That’s what I’m kind of learning right now. I am taking chances and just relaxing at the moment. Do I have a job? No. Will I find one eventually? I hope so but I won’t worry for now.

That’s a good way to approach it. I think that too many people are afraid of taking chances and end up falling into a routine that they hate, just because it feels safe. Sure it’s scary not to have a plan… but it’s even scarier to wake up every morning and dread the day ahead.

πŸ˜† I’m just not a fan of lattes in general – too much milk, not enough coffee kick. But I wouldn’t be opposed to adding a shot of pumpkin to my cappuccino or Pike.

Yes! I probably get iced coffee with one pump of pumpkin more than I get the actual latte itself. I’ve also gotten a grande soy capp with one shot of pumpkin. It’s so good!

And off to read some links that I missed this week πŸ˜‰ I’m heading over to my parents today for dinner and to take over their laundry machine – the sheer amount that Eric and I need to do right now is actually a tad embarrassing.
