Life is full of difficult choices.
Cereal or cinnamon buns [for breakfast]?
Pink or red?
Chocolate or vanilla?
Smooth or chunky?
White socks or black socks?
Chocolate or gummy candy?
Sweet or savory?
Coffee or tea?
Gah! It’s enough to make this indecisive girl go a little crazy every now and then. Thankfully, there are things our there that ease my decision-making woes. One of those things is eenie-meenie-miney-mo, which has proven to be a lifesaver as far back as I can remember…
But another, more recent thing is this Coffee Pu’erh tea from David’s Tea.
Holy.wow. Can we say best of both worlds? Yes, yes we can.
I originally bought this tea waaaaaay back in the Fall, but it sat in my cupboards unopened until a few days ago because although I was intrigued, I was also a little put off by the idea of coffee and tea combined – it was either going to be genius or disastrous, and I just wasn’t ready to take that leap of faith.
Thankfully, it was pure genius and I now have a new favorite tea to add to my daily rotation. I like to drink this sucker with lunch when the slumpies start to hit but I’m not quite ready for my afternoon coffee fix. That and pu’erh is thought to aid in digestion, which is an added perk that I definitely enjoy.
I’d also enjoy another trip to Vegas, but unfortunately, work is calling. Happy Tuesday, friends!

Well, I know which new tea I’ll be picking up from David’s Tea when I go Thursday;)

Haha, I’m totally the same as you….just not good at all with decisions. As soon as I pick one thing, I totally crave the thing I didn’t choose! I like a little of both worlds I guess.
Chocolate for me. I actually have a weird random tooth fear with gummy/candy things. Haha, I’m so odd. So I guess that’s an easy choice then.

Oh gosh, decisions and I are not really the best of friends. I’m probably one of the most indecisive people ever! So I’m totally loving this coffee pu’erh tea you got there! It definitely makes that coffee or tea decision a whole lot easier. Just wish there was a davids tea near me…

I am pretty good at decisions, except when I eat out. I sit there forever panicking, I take the wrong decision. Besides that I just postpone the second decision for later….so chocolate for lunch, fruit gums for dinner…..sweet for breakfast, savory for lunch – works perfectly!!

Tea and chocolate all the way for me! No day goes by without them but I wouldn’t miss gummy candies one bit and coffee is still too bitter-tasting for me. Hey, to each their own, right? Am I forgiven if I say that tiramisu/coffee-flavoured ice cream is nice every now and then

Coffee and tea combined? Sounds like a great idea – I wish David’s Tea would hurry up and export to the UK, or better yet open a store! I’m sick of being a slave to Starbucks.
I am the worst at making decisions – I’m anxious enough already without agonizing for years over making the wrong choice, which inevitably I always do simply by virtue of it being the particular action I’ve chosen. No matter how things turn out I’ll twist it so that the other option was ‘correct,’ I am wrong and thus I am a perpetual idiot.
Anyway, coffee for me all the way (never decaf – eew), chocolate (I hate fruit sweets – used to like Skittles as a child though but can’t imagine eating them now) and…err, both when it comes to left and right? I write with my right hand but paradoxically the left side of my body is bigger, stronger and dominant when it comes to both weight-lifting and running. Weird. But that’s just me all over.
xxx
Wellll, I wouldn’t exactly say that being a slave to Starbucks is ALL that bad, but maybe you could have a certain Canadian blogging friend send you some tea
Hi! I’m sorry I took ages to reply to this again – I revert to my natural leanings of being shy and socially awkward when I’m not quite sure if I’ve interpreted something correctly. Really though I should just ask straight away – do you mean you might be interested in perhaps swapping something from the UK for some tea
No worries if not (I’m the Queen of getting the wrong end of the stick) but just drop me an e-mail if there is anything I might be able to send over in exchange for some tea!
xxx
As I read through each “decision” that you listed I found myself have a very difficult time deciding which of the two things that I would choose. Yes, I admit it…I can be VERY indecisive! For most of the choices that you listed my only response would be…”well, I guess it depends on my mood!”

Well aren’t you the snap decision maker
I am literally the worst at making decisions. I can literally spend hours in any store and come out empty handed because I ended up talking myself out of buying both things that I was deciding on.
Well, I’m not much of a candy eater anymore, but in the old days I would say hands down, the gummies. My parents used to get me 5 lb bags of gummy bears for christmas!! Oh, and I used to hate chocolate. Don’t ask, I never understood either. But then, something changed and now I love dark chocolate, but, I don’t know. There I go again with my indecisiveness.
I love the smell of coffee and I work at a coffee shop, so I enjoy the thing that is coffee, but as far as drinking goes, I am hands down a tea connoisseur. Love it!
Left or right? Which is which is my answer to that question, because I have to spend practically 5 seconds figuring out which one to say in the first place (yes, I did have to look down at my hands and do the L trick for this…)
I’m completely intrigued too! I can be super indecisive at times too, on both the little and the small things. What should I have for dinner? What should I do with my life? haha, blah! Wish I had it all figured out.

Decisions made while shopping for clothes = not so good. Decisions made during the day in general = pretty good. So, I guess I’m okay at decision-making, but shouldn’t go shopping with a full wallet
I like coffee a lot better, but I don’t sweeten my tea, so I know that may be why I don’t thoroughly enjoy the flavors of tea no matter what they are! lol
Considering I crave chocolate every day, I DEFINITELY choose chocolate over gummy candies. I just like the flavor, smooth texture, and richness of chocolate so much more than the fake fruit flavors and stickiness that comes with gummy candies!
RIGHT! Though left would probably make me smarter
Wow, so I’m the queen of being horrible at shopping for clothes. I go into the store and sooo many different styles appeal to me that I end up having a hard time figuring out what to buy. That might be part of the reason why I tend to avoid going to the mall too often – it’s just overwhelming!

Decision making is the bane of my existence! I am the WORST decision maker, and will typically waffle back and forth between my options, before either 1) buying/having both, or 2) walking away empty handed. When it comes to coffee and tea, however, I always go the coffee route in the morning, and the tea route in the afternoon. Unless we’re talking about decaf cappuccinos (only in the afternoons; morning coffee is always black), or caffeinated tea (only at night, if I’m planning on staying out late). Gah, I guess it’s more complicated than I originally thought!
Chocolate candy always wins–always. However, choosing the *type* of chocolate candy is where the tricky decision lies.
Happy Tuesday, Amanda!

Haha! your tea/coffee routine sounds as complicated as mine. Black tea in the morning, black tea around lunch, coffee in the afternoon, herbal tea at night… unless I’m planning on staying up, then black tea at night as well. Whatever works, right?
Coffee > Tea (but it has to be a flavored coffee, and either over ice or in the form of a frapp. I hate, HATE warm drinks.. even hot chocolate)
Chocolate = Fruit Candy… I refuse to pick, too close.

Character yes, but sometimes I find it crazy uncomfortable when my toes stick through. As long as I can arrange them in a way that doesn’t involve any rogue toes, then we’re all good.
aaah life’s tough moments!! I am so indecisive too – just this evening I was like “okay, I have leftover salmon, leftover chicken, beans, and tofu…which do I want for dinner?!!?” and I stood there in front of the fridge for a good ten minutes. ay caramba. That coffee-tea sounds AWESOME! I actually can’t drink coffee in the afternoon because the acidity bothers my stomach, but there are totally some days where I could use a caffeine boost…gah, wish we had David’s in the US! And I’m curious – did you go with the cinnamon bun or the usual for breakfast?
Straight black coffee bothers my stomach in the afternoons, but I find that as long as I’m drinking something with a milk base like a latte or cappuccino, then I don’t have to suffer any unpleasantness. And I went with the usual breakfast and had the cinnamon bun mid-morning
I think that David needs to get his act together and bring his tea a little closer to me. Although if I remember correctly there may be one in San Francisco…? Hmm… Anyways Numi has a line of Pu’erh teas which I am in love (the chocolate it the best, no surprise there) but coffee sounds like a dream flavor.

I feel like I’m one of the few who actually prefer chunky to smooth when it comes to nut butters–I just love the added texture! But for most things, I have the hardest time making a decision. I just don’t wanna be disappointed! Like when I go out to eat at one of my favorite restaurants, I always try something new because I want to find a new fave meal but then I’m second-guessing my decision up until I finally order. And I’m just generally indecisive when it comes to most of my meals, so I end up going with a random mix of things most of the time, and that way I’m never unsatisfied!
