. kisses for you .

March 16, 2013 by Amanda @ .running with spoons. 151 Comments

Today is a special day. Why? Well, because it’s Saturday for one, and because I’m currently sitting here enjoying a bowl of one of my all time favorite cereals for another…

Cinnamon Crunch

… or I guess I should say a bowl of a healthier dupe of one of my all time favorite cereals…

Cascadian Farm

I came across this box of Cinnamon [not-Toast] Crunch by Cascadian Farm on one of the [mandatory] trips that I took to Whole Foods while I was down in Hawaii, and I seriously couldn’t wait to dig my spoon into it. I would have tried it while I was on vacation, but I decided that flying an open box of cereal across the Pacific probably wouldn’t have been the greatest idea I’ve ever had. In any case, it was totally worth the wait. I also managed to snag a box of Nature’s Path toaster pastries while I was over there, but have yet to try them…

Toaster Pastries

It never ceases to amaze me how many products you guys have down there in the States that we don’t get up here in Canada, and I have to say that there’s nothing more frustrating than seeing something delicious on your computer screen and not being able to get your hands on it.Β Sad face.

That being said, I hope you guys won’t be too upset with me for showing you these…

Macademia Kisses

And these…

Coconut M&Ms

Before my trip to Hawaii, I remember hearing the occasional whisper surrounding these fabled treats, but I had never actually come across them in stores… whiiiiich might explain why I kind of, maybe, might have packed my suitcase to the brim with them. Okay, so that might be a slight exaggeration, but IΒ did throw in a couple of extra bags for you guys. That’s right! It’s time for a small giveaway! Why? For no other reason than to say thank you for continuing to read Spoons πŸ˜€

. – . – . – .

There are three ways you can enter (leave a separate comment for each):

1. Tell me about your favorite vacation (mandatory).

2. Like Spoons on Facebook.

3. Follow me on Twitter or Instagram and leave a comment with your ID.

That’s it! You have until midnight on Monday (March 18) to enter, and I’ll be announcingΒ two winners on Tuesday. Each winner will receive a bag of kisses and two bags of M&Ms.

Love you guys, and good luck!

My favorite trip ever would have to be my first trip to Aruba with my parents and sister. We have all been there many times since then and fell in love with it. It was my dad’s favorite place ever, and being that he recently passed away, that first trip holds a special place in my heart.

My favorite vacation… I guess would probably count all the times I went to Turkey to visit my family. I’ve been to several locations, visiting ruins, and beautiful town’s/cities. Most of all just being with the people I love.

My favorite vacation was spent in China some years ago. It was just SO fascinating and impressive to get to know a completely different culture! I’ve been to Beijing,Qingsao and Ji’nan; if there will ever be a next time,I’d love to visit Shanghai… It’s supposed to be beautiful with the ocean and everything. <3

My favourite trip ever was to Hawaii – it’s seriously the most magical place and it was the first trip I took where I completely disengaged from work and just enjoyed ever single moment. πŸ™‚

My favorite vacation is a toss up between two. The first was a European trip with my husband and the other when we took our son to Disney Workd for the first time last year. It was amazing to watch his face and see his reactions. The memories still make me smile!! πŸ˜‰ so glad you had fun on your trip!!! πŸ˜‰

My favorite vacation was probably our family trip to Oregon. We rented a massive beachhouse right on the water and all the cousins, aunts, uncles, and siblings got to spend 10 days of amazing quality time together. So many great memories πŸ™‚

I’m totally on my favourite vacation right now!! Chilling in Baltimore, Virginia and DC with some of my favourite bloggers and running a half? Fabulous!! But I agree — SO many foods down here that we can’t get back home. Mind you — pretty sure I’d kill for some macadamia nut kisses. I didn’t see any here!! Not that I was specifically looking … My favourite has been the cookie blend peanut butter that I tried at Megan’s house. I thought it would be weird, but ohmygoodness, amazing. If they make an almond butter version (eventually), give it a try!!
