Today is a special day. Why? Well, because it’s Saturday for one, and because I’m currently sitting here enjoying a bowl of one of my all time favorite cereals for another…
… or I guess I should say a bowl of a healthier dupe of one of my all time favorite cereals…
I came across this box of Cinnamon [not-Toast] Crunch by Cascadian Farm on one of the [mandatory] trips that I took to Whole Foods while I was down in Hawaii, and I seriously couldn’t wait to dig my spoon into it. I would have tried it while I was on vacation, but I decided that flying an open box of cereal across the Pacific probably wouldn’t have been the greatest idea I’ve ever had. In any case, it was totally worth the wait. I also managed to snag a box of Nature’s Path toaster pastries while I was over there, but have yet to try them…
It never ceases to amaze me how many products you guys have down there in the States that we don’t get up here in Canada, and I have to say that there’s nothing more frustrating than seeing something delicious on your computer screen and not being able to get your hands on it. Sad face.
That being said, I hope you guys won’t be too upset with me for showing you these…

Before my trip to Hawaii, I remember hearing the occasional whisper surrounding these fabled treats, but I had never actually come across them in stores… whiiiiich might explain why I kind of, maybe, might have packed my suitcase to the brim with them. Okay, so that might be a slight exaggeration, but I did throw in a couple of extra bags for you guys. That’s right! It’s time for a small giveaway! Why? My favourite vacation was my trip to England in 2008. I was pretty deep into my ED, but staying with family that loved and cared for me, gave me more hope that I’d had before, and through sheer determination that I was going t enjoy this holiday, I relaxed around food, ate what I wanted and had a fantastic time! I will always cherish that holiday (:
I love the Cascadia Crunch cereal. Just when I thought Cinnamon Toast Crunch would forever be out of my life, I found this little gem. All the fun, none of the chemicals. God bless Cascadia Farms.
My favorite vacation was 12 days in Croatia, in a house overlooking the Adriatic Sea and surrounded by rosemary hedges. Yep, hedges made out of rosemary.

On that note, my favourite vacation would have to be the trip I took a couple years ago with my girlfriends to Cuba. I had too much fun with them and would looove to take another group vacatiion with them. However, one of my many trips to the mountains with my boyfriend definitely rank close second. There really is no better place to be for me than the Rockies. .

My favorite vaca was this past year to the Outer Banks– it was the first time I’d ever gone and I loved every second of it. We are going back this summer for the 4th of July and I can’t wait!

My favorite vacation? Other than the yearly visits home (I really don’t want to call them vacations, although they’re the nicest feeling in the whole world), it’s most probably last summer’s trip to Rotterdam, where I had a meeting with some of the friends from all around the world with whom I’ve studied abroad (in Rotterdam) for six months. Amazing five days!

Favourite vacation was spending time in Spain (especially in the summer) on my uncle’s farm. It was absolutely amazing and the fresh fruits and vegetables were divine (there is nothing better than fresh figs on a hot hot day).

My favorite vacation would be Jamaica ! I am a huge reggae fan so I absolutely loved all the music the entire trip. Plus the beach and amazing food wasn’t bad either 😉

Favorite vacation: On my honeymoon we went to Poland. I ate so many paczki – I still dream about them!
My favorite vacation was when my family drove up to Michigan. We basically sat on the beach all day, went to tourists shops at night, and had ice cream at least once daily 😀

Om nom nom – what a fantastic giveaway! My favorite vacation was the first trip that Dan and I ever went on – to Cape Cod, Boston, New York, and Chicago, all in one week. It was absolutely amazing. And that is when he told me that he loved me for the first time 🙂
Oh that new cereal looks delicious!! Oh well, you know, I am totally used to see all the delicious stuff on my screen without having the chance to taste it. We do have maybe 1/8 of the stuff you guys get over there so I can only drool and dream about it 🙂

Trip to NYC with my husband. It was so much fun. We walked til we were ready to drop and then ate delicious food. Im from the south but I love that city.
fave vacation(s) were family trips up to vermont to visit maple farms when i was younger. i loved coming home with an endless supply of maple syrup!
