. shameless .

June 17, 2011 by Amanda @ .running with spoons. 61 Comments

No shame…

… for wanting, needing, and enjoying dessert every single day…

Deep Chocolate Vitamuffin, vanilla Greek yogurt, caramel pudding

. – . – . – .

No shame…

… for hiding goodies in the depths of the vegetable drawer so no one else can steal them…

Too bad the secret’s out now…

. – . – . – .

No shame…

… for eating salsa straight out of the jar with a spoon…

Sometimes I get hit by mad cravings for either salsa or pasta sauce. ‘Tis weird…

. – . – . – .

No shame…

… for being skeeved out by the idea of egg whites in a carton and using the real thing instead…

The yolks don’t go to waste, though. I use them in natural homemade face/hair masks.

. – . – . – .

No shame…

… for turning to the dark side…

Vanilla tofu protein pudding… with cocoa. But I think I prefer vanilla…

. – . – . – .

No shame…

… for cheating on running with a growing love for strength training…

The Β New Rules of Lifting for Women. I’m loving this book, and I’ve started their workout plan.

. – . – . – .

No shame…

… for sleeping with a childhood friend…

Trips has been with me Β for 26 years, and loves me even after seeing me first thing in the morning.
He’s a keeper.Β

. – . – . – .

No shame…

… for sometimes preferring to spent a quiet Friday night at home…

Don’t lie – you know you wanna be cool like me πŸ˜‰

. – . – . – .

No shame…

… for being me… just the way I am…

… flaws, quirks, oddities, and all πŸ˜€

. – . – . – .

Your turn! No shame for… ____________

Chocolate or vanilla?

Running or strength training?

vanilla and chocolate are both amazing and should never be compared, it’s not fair. πŸ˜› Also good to hear you like the new rules of lifting for women, really meaning to pick that up!

I have no shame for eating cool whip right out of the tub πŸ™‚

I totally totally agree with having no shame whatsoever for wanting and needing dessert every single day. I have no shame in having multiple cookies/muffins everyday without fail!
I’d probably say vanilla most of the time but I would REALLY love to get my hands on those chocolate Vitamuffins you have! *sigh* one day, one day..

No shame . . . for pretending to have your own cooking show whilst in the kitchen and explaining everything to an imaginary audience. πŸ˜› Have been dong that since I was a little girl!
Also, I wanted to mention a couple of posts ago (but I forgot, sorry!) that it’s so nice to know a fellow foodie who’s also a a) closet video gamer (Fable & Soul Caliber = <3) and b) enjoys the fantasy genre. I've been Lord of the Rings obsessed since . . . forever! πŸ˜€

You’re seriously the coolest. THE coolest. I love your no shames. Totally nothing wrong with spending a friday night in with classics movies and gaming time. I’m spending my friday night blog reading and I’m lovin’ in. NO shame in the least. And I eat salsa straight from the jar ALL the time. At least once a day. Sometimes straight up with a spoon but usually dunking tortilla chips, rice crackers or mini rice cakes right into the jar. Best snack ever.

Chocolate or vanilla? I’d say chocolate most of the time. Mmm rich cocoa powder.

Running or strength training? Both for their own reasons – Running because it’s free thinking and music grooving time. Strength training for its body changing abilities and how darn strong and accomplished it makes you feel!

Erm. They’re not really recipes, per say, For the face mask you just put the yolk right on to your face and leave it for 15 minutes then rinse. And for hair, mix it with some water and baby oil, then massage it in to your hair and leave it for 20 mins.
