. shameless .

June 17, 2011 by Amanda @ .running with spoons. 61 Comments

No shame…

… for wanting, needing, and enjoying dessert every single day…

Deep Chocolate Vitamuffin, vanilla Greek yogurt, caramel pudding

. – . – . – .

No shame…

… for hiding goodies in the depths of the vegetable drawer so no one else can steal them…

Too bad the secret’s out now…

. – . – . – .

No shame…

… for eating salsa straight out of the jar with a spoon…

Sometimes I get hit by mad cravings for either salsa or pasta sauce. ‘Tis weird…

. – . – . – .

No shame…

… for being skeeved out by the idea of egg whites in a carton and using the real thing instead…

The yolks don’t go to waste, though. I use them in natural homemade face/hair masks.

. – . – . – .

No shame…

… for turning to the dark side…

Vanilla tofu protein pudding… with cocoa. But I think I prefer vanilla…

. – . – . – .

No shame…

… for cheating on running with a growing love for strength training…

The Β New Rules of Lifting for Women. I’m loving this book, and I’ve started their workout plan.

. – . – . – .

No shame…

… for sleeping with a childhood friend…

Trips has been with me Β for 26 years, and loves me even after seeing me first thing in the morning.
He’s a keeper.Β

. – . – . – .

No shame…

… for sometimes preferring to spent a quiet Friday night at home…

Don’t lie – you know you wanna be cool like me πŸ˜‰

. – . – . – .

No shame…

… for being me… just the way I am…

… flaws, quirks, oddities, and all πŸ˜€

. – . – . – .

Your turn! No shame for… ____________

Chocolate or vanilla?

Running or strength training?

love this post, especially the last picture. i always eat out of jars… every single jar in our household (almond butter, hummus, jam, etc.) has probably been eaten out of by me. no shame. =)

No shame for crying when you feel sad. And no shame for laughing out loud when you are happy!
Vanilla ice-cream, but chocolate oatmeal πŸ™‚
Running in the morning and strenght training later! Yes, I am a bit uneasy with making decisions πŸ™‚

yay for cheating on running! I’ve been in running injury rehab for the past 1.5 months and I am adoring me some weights/short sprints intervals!

No shame for truly wanting to add tofu to every part of my day: tofu green monster in the AM, tofu brown rice casserole in the daytime, tofu scramble in the PM, tofu chocolate pudding in the nighttime. For reeeaaals! Too much soy? le sigh…

For some reason, whenever you eat Greek yogurt I always want to have some. You make it look soooooo good!

I’ve been thinking about doing a Lord of the Rings marathon all week now… ever since my pastor used a clip from The Return of the King in a very profound analogy at church last Sunday. It was a great sermon, but all I could think about for the rest of the time was how I wanted to watch the Lord of the Rings! Haha. And I still sleep with my stuffed yellow dog every night, too.

Chocolate foreverrr… and usually I’d say I like strength training better… but this week, I’ve been all about the cardio! Been a real struggle to force myself to strength train (usually its the opposite!) It just seems to take so much mental energy… when cardio you can just plug in and GO!

What a lovely post! And you should have no shame, you are so amazing and so so beautiful!!
I want to get into strength training, but im more of a runner. I want to get in at least one Body Pump class a week now, but running is something I can do almost everyday. Makes me feel free!

And, for me, it is chocolatechocolatechocolate. it is The love of my life!!
    Have a great weekend :*

This post is fantastic. I, too, am a closet salsa eater! No shame there at all πŸ™‚

For me? No shame in blasting gangsta rap from my car on a busy road. Yes, I’m a little blonde chick, and yes, I’m driving a bright blue mini cooper, and yes! I’m wearing hipster sunglasses. But I’m not ashamed!
