  • 2 Tbsp. coconut flour
  • 1 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp. baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp. coconut palm sugar*
  • ¼ cup brewed coffee**
  • 1 egg
  • 1 heaping Tbsp. chocolate chips


  1. Add coconut flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder to a microwave-safe mug or bowl. Stir until well combined.
  2. Add in sugar and coffee**, stirring until no clumps remain. Add egg, mixing well to ensure that everything is fully incorporated. Fold in chocolate chips.
  3. Microwave on high for 2½ to 3 minutes, depending on microwave strength and thickness of mug.
  4. Remove from microwave, grab a spoon, and enjoy!


* You can also sub with your sweetener of choice.
** You can also sub with 1/4 cup of almond milk and 1 tsp. of instant coffee.
